Alpine, Wyoming sits on the banks of the Palisades
Reservoir, 36 miles south of Jackson. It is a vibrant community sandwiched
by breath-taking
wilderness. With retail, commercial, and professional services available
within its three-block main street, Alpine residents are minutes away
from fishing, boating, hiking, hunting, Nordic skiing, and snowmobiling.
In North Alpine, just south of the junction of Highways 26 & 89 and
just across the Snake River from “downtown” Alpine, Mike Halpin’s
Meridian Group has created Alpine Meadows. A year-round planned development
with 166 houses on lots averaging .41 acres, this site also includes almost
25 acres of open space inside the development for recreation and wildlife
migration.
Bike pathways wander in between clusters of houses, each of is fronted
by a paved street and connected to full utilities by NorthStar Utilities
(water & sewer) and SilverStar Communications (cable & internet).
Carefully crafted CC&Rs, Design
Guidelines, and HOA rules ensure that the community
will be well-built and well-maintained forever.
The site also hosts several acres along Highway 26 for retail and mixed
uses which will become available in 2006.
This project has enjoyed cooperating with several different community partners:
the Town
of Alpine, Lincoln
County, the
Star Valley Chamber of Commerce,
the Star Valley Medical
Center, Wyoming Public Service Commission and Lincoln
County School District #2.
